The Best NHL Goals of October 2010: So Far, So Good, So What!?

The season is young but the great goals are coming fast.  From coast to coast, the top goals are amazing and the players scoring them are starting to make names for themselves or continue their legacies.  The NHL is having a flurry of young starts taking the reins and the aging veterans are still doing their thing as well.

If you have Center Ice, this year has been great so far with so many amazing goals, saves and hits and I am proud to put together my favorite goals of the season so far.

From record breaking goals to first NHL goals, the league should be proud of the quality of the product they are putting out.

Taylor Hall's First Goal

Now injured Chicago Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa drives the zone, makes a beautiful pass and scores backhand shot from a rebound.  He then promptly scores on his next shift to tie the game.

Patrick Eaves Shorthanded Goal

Detroit Red Wings forward Patrick Eaves scores a wonderful goal.  The pass from Darren Helm is just as sweet.

Claude Giroux Backhand Shortand

Tyler Seguin's First NHL Goal

Tyler Seguin scores his first NHL goal on a beautiful breakaway shot while he falls on his back.  Seguin was drafted second overall by the Boston Bruins.

Brent Burns Unbelievable Spin-O-Rama Goal
