Randy Moss Trade: A Minnesota Vikings Reunion As Moss Is Back With the Team
Randy Moss is back in Minnesota. After playing his first seven season in the purple and gold, Moss is back and needed more than ever. Brett Favre has been granted his wish to play with Moss, and in 2007 when the Packers were in the mix for the disgruntled wide receiver, Favre was quoted as saying, "There is no one in this league who puts fear in people more than Randy Moss." Now, in most likely his final season in the NFL, or at least we think, Favre has his receiver.
Yes, Moss is the same player who mooned the fans of Lambeau Field in the 2005 playoffs when Favre was with the Packers.

Yes, the same player who, in 2005, openly admitted he smokes pot.
That's all in the past though; now the Vikings are hoping Moss can be the deep play threat they are sorely lacking.
Must Read: Five Reasons Trade To Vikings Makes Sense
The trade comes at a perfect time for the Vikings who are struggling to develop a passing game without Sidney Rice. With the Vincent Jackson trade falling through and Percy Harvin's lingering health problems, the Vikings needed another big play threat, and something tells me Favre could not have asked for a different receiver he'd like to play with.
Thus far, throughout three games, after throwing for 33 touchdowns, and only seven interceptions in 2009, Favre already has been picked off six times, while throwing just two touchdowns. Think he needed this? Can Moss rejuvenate the Vikings season?
A question I have is why were the Patriots so eager to trade Moss? Is this a decision they will regret? I tend to trust Bill Belichick, and he knows what he is doing. It appears the Patriots are going a different route at receiver. With Wes Welker, Brandon Tate, and Julian Edelman, the Patriots have a strong receiver corps.
The Moss era part two will begin Monday Night in New York against the Jets. Could you have ever predicted this three weeks ago when Moss had one of his routine one handed touchdown passes? I, for one, can say I did not.
