Bobby Petrino Fallout: When it Comes to Coaches, "Don't Trust 'Em!"
Daniel YoungDec 12, 2007
"Bobby Petrino is getting ripped to shreds by the Atlanta Falcons organization, the media, and the fans right now—and with good reason. "
"In the past 13 months, Petrino has signed with three different teams, pledging a total of 21 years in total. After the 2006 season, he turned down the Oakland Raiders' job for the second year in a row, and signed a 10-year extention with Louisville. "
"Less than a month later, he bolted for a seven year deal with the Atlanta Falcons. Now the Razorback faithful are rejoicing because he decided to quit on the Falcons and join them in Arkansas. "

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
"If I were the father of a football recruit, I wouldn't let this guy set foot in my house. Recruits should start checking the track records of the coaches they are about to get involved with, because it's the players that are the ones who end up getting hurt when there is a coaching change. "
"Let's just say a five-star quarterback signs with Arkansas to play in Petrino's system, and ole' Bobby decides he is ready to head to another school. That leaves that recruit with two options: either adapt to a new system that might not fit his style, or transfer to another school and sit out a year with the transfer rule. "
"This is not fair to the school (or organization in the Falcons's case), the President, the fans, or the players that you tricked into believing you were an honest, loyal coach."
"Petrino now joins Nick Saban in the liar's club. Saban was very dedicated to his Dolphins by saying he wasn't going anywhere, and that he knew nothing about Alabama. The next thing you know, he's on a plane to Tuscaloosa. "
"I think Saban is more respectable than Petrino, but you can't trust them as far as you can throw 'em. "
