NFL Power Rankings, Week 4: Three Undefeated Teams Remaining
1. (3) Pittsburgh Steelers (3-0)
The Steelers are undefeated despite averaging the fewest passing yards per game in the NFL. How good will they be when last year's fifth-highest rated passer returns?
2. (11) Atlanta Falcons (2-1)

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Atlanta's only loss is to the undefeated Steelers in overtime and its two wins are over a pair of teams that are undefeated when they don't play the Falcons.
3. (1) New Orleans Saints (2-1)
The Saints' inability to run the ball hurt them against Atlanta. New Orleans rushed for just 43 yards and is last in the league in that category.
4. (20) Chicago Bears (3-0)
I'd like to apologize to the Bears for having them ranked so low last week. They have the best rush defense in the league and Jay Cutler is the highest-rated quarterback in the NFL.
5. (2) Green Bay Packers (2-1)
The loss of Ryan Grant is starting to rear its ugly head. The Packers rushed for only 63 yards Monday night. Aaron Rodgers can't do it all on his own.
6. (7) Cincinnati Bengals (2-1)
7. (8) Baltimore Ravens (2-1)
I'm glad the Ravens' passing game finally took flight the week I benched Joe Flacco.
8. (9) New York Jets (2-1)
I was watching the Yankees beat the Red Sox when the Jets were playing the Dolphins, but I see the Jets won, so good for them.
9. (6) Miami Dolphins (2-1)
The Dolphins allowed 20 points in the first two weeks combined, but surrendered 31 to the Jets.
10. (10) New England Patriots (2-1)
I suggest betting the over in every Patriots game this year.
11. (13) Tennessee Titans (2-1)
All Chris Johnson needed to get back on track was to face the Giants' defense.
12. (22) Dallas Cowboys (1-2)
Dallas figured out that it needed to use its ground game to win. After averaging just 69.5 yards per game in its first two losses, tied for fourth-worst in the league, the Cowboys rushed for 101 yards against the Texans, delaying mass hysteria for at least a week.
13. (4) Houston Texans (2-1)
Three turnovers sunk the Texans against Dallas.
14. (5) Indianapolis Colts (2-1)
The Colts drop nine spots as a result of Houston's loss to the Cowboys. Indy fell to the Texans in Week 1 and its wins over the Giants and Broncos (both 1-2) aren't impressive enough to get them any higher than 14th right now. The Colts' rush offense is ranked 25th, their pass defense is 20th, and their rush defense is 29th.
15. (15) Kansas City Chiefs (3-0)
The Chiefs have improved from 23rd in the league in scoring last year to 12th this season.
16. (18) Philadelphia Eagles (2-1)
Kevin Kolb probably could have amassed 321 yards and four touchdowns. Philly welcomes back Donovan McNabb on Sunday.
17. (14) New York Giants
(1-2)
Only the 0-3 Bills and Niners have allowed more points than the Giants.
18. (17) Jacksonville Jaguars (1-2)
David Garrard's performance over the past two weeks leaves me wondering how bad Denver's pass defense is that he could throw for three touchdowns against them in Week 1.
19. (19) Denver Broncos (1-2)
Speaking of Denver's pass defense, it allowed Peyton Manning 325 yards on Sunday.
20. (25) Seattle Seahawks (2-1)
There have been six kickoff returns for touchdowns in the NFL this year. Leon Washington had two of them on Sunday.
21. (21) Minnesota Vikings (1-2)![]()
No one has thrown more interceptions this year than Brett Favre.
22. (16) San Diego Chargers (1-2)
23. (23) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-1)
Yeah, that's more like it.
24. (24) Arizona Cardinals (2-1)
Arizona has allowed more field goals than every team except Baltimore, so I don't think the Cardinals' special teams had anything to do with Sebastian Janikowski's bad day.
25. (28) Oakland Raiders (1-2)
No one has made more field goals than Janikowski this year, but his three misses on Sunday cost the Raiders a 2-1 start. They still move up three spots, however, because their win over the Rams looks a little better with St. Louis beating the Redskins.
26. (31) St. Louis Rams (1-2)
That was the Rams' first home win since Oct. 19, 2008 over Dallas.
27. (12) Washington Redskins (1-2)
Washington's pass defense is second worst in the NFL.
28. (26) San Francisco 49ers (0-3)
Maybe a new offensive coordinator will shake things up for the Niners.
29. (27) Detroit Lions (0-3)
The Lions can't run and they can't stop the run. If they played the Steelers, Vegas would have to set the line at about 28.
30. (29) Buffalo Bills (0-3)
Can the Bills go wire-to-wire with the worst offense in the league? Despite putting up 374 yards against New England, Buffalo ranks last in the NFL for the third week in a row, averaging just 242 yards per game.
31. (30) Cleveland Browns (0-3)
The Browns have committed 17 penalties in the past two weeks.
32. (32) Carolina Panthers (0-3)
Only three quarterbacks have a worse passer rating than Favre and two of them are on Carolina.
