The Drive With Rize: REAL Raw Ratings, Cena's Turn?, Y2J's Future, Orton
Hi, Bleachers. It's your hero Rize here with this week's major wrestling news.
First off—the Raw ratings situation. I know everyone has heard of the 2.37 rating, which is supposedly the lowest in thirteen years. But it turns out that wasn't true—it was actually a 2.7. Still, that's not much better.
The ratings have been slipping the past few months, but I guess Creative didn't care until now. I don't exactly blame the PG era, but it definitely played a big part in them losing the older audience.

Anyway, to the Chris Jericho situation. The punt he received Monday was to write Y2J off of television for the next few weeks. He will be touring with his band, Fozzy in the UK, for the next two weeks.
There's nothing set and stone about his departure, so Jericho could be back in a few months, thankfully.
We've all heard the rumbling of a John Cena heel turn. We've all wanted it to happen. Vince McMahon made sure it would never happen because of merchandise sales. But the word is that Vince is "warming up" to the idea. He is listening to suggestions from members of Creative.
While no plan is set as of now, with ratings dropping the way they are, it's either two things that could turn this bad situation around.
1. End the PG era, or 2. Turn John Cena heel.
It will keep fans interested, and Cena's turn would without a doubt be the biggest in professional wrestling history.
Along with the women's title, the World Tag Team Championships have been officially retired. The Harts are listed the last champions.
On the last edition of The Drive, I informed you of Randy Orton's displeasure at being a babyface. It was reported that Orton did indeed tell a member of WWE Management he wasn't happy with his current status, but told a fan on Twitter "Whatever u read saying I'm unhappy as a face is bs...I haven't felt that way since I turned".
Well either way, Orton's got a fan in me.
Thats all for today Bleachers, be sure to look for the latest sometime this week.
