Cleveland Browns Must Rely on Peyton "Incredible Hulk" Hillis Due to Injuries
The Cleveland Browns face the Baltimore Ravens in Baltimore this Sunday in Week 3 of the 2010 NFL season.
Also facing the Browns on this game day are a bevy of injuries that seem to be mounting.
First, there was word that both starting running back Jerome Harrison and starting wide receiver Brian Robiskie were injured early in the week and not practicing.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Harrison's injury has led to running back James Davis receiving more reps at along with Josh Cribbs getting more reps as the starter opposite of Mohamed Massaquoi.
Now Robiskie is out for the game and Cribbs "tweaked" his ankle due to increased reps and he was initially considered probable, but has now been downgraded to questionable.
With receivers starting to drop, the Browns went out and signed former New England Patriot receiver Sam Aiken, but he will not be ready to take the field for at least another week while he learns the system.
Then, rookie reciever Carlton Mitchell, who was possibly going to get some playing time too, sustained a head injury in Friday's practice, and is also listed as questionable for the Ravens game now.
Harrison is also questionable which means that Cleveland's second favorite Browns player, Peyton Hillis, will get the bulk of carries in Baltimore.
Hillis has compared his running style to his childhood idol Mike Alstott, and for those who don't remember Alstott, all he did was beat down opposing defenses with his bruising style of running.
If Hillis is getting an increased workload, he will have his hands full going up against the Ravens tough run defense and Ray Lewis too.
But seeing a collision between Hillis and Lewis is also a very intriguing and exciting thought.
Perhaps Hillis will win that battle and give Ravens fans a glimpse of "The Hulk."
Browns fans are getting more familiar with "The Hulk" because that is what Hillis is doing when he is flexing to the crowd after a big play or touchdown.
Davis has been a buzz since he was drafted in 2009, but an injury cut his rookie season short, and in lieu of Harrison's injury to his thigh this means that Davis will get his chance to shine albeit against one of the best run defenses in the NFL.
In the end, the Browns are obviously getting a visit from the injury bug this week, and hopefully it is only a one week visit because the Browns just do not have the depth to deal with injuries especially at receiver.
A final note with regard to injuries, inside linebacker D'Qwell Jackson was placed on injured reserve for the rest of the season and since he was only on a one-year tender, his time in Cleveland is most likely over since he just cannot stay healthy in the past two seasons.
The Browns are in a must-win situation moving forward and if they cannot pull off an upset or two in the coming weeks, then things will only gets worse for head coach Eric Mangini and his coaching staff, but if the injury bug stays on board, Mangini's job just gets that much harder too.
