The NASCAR Sprint Cup Chase enters it's second week as they travel to the Monster Mile at Dover for the AAA 400 Sunday September 26th.  The concrete, high banked mile is one of the most dangerous and physical tracks the NASCAR Sprint Cup series has to offer.

The NASCAR drivers that perform well on this track are fit drivers that have a good engine under the hood.  Jimmie Johnson swept the pair of Dover races last season but will be hard pressed to get back in the winner's circle this weekend. Johnson cannot be ruled out for this race but there are other drivers that are primed and ready for the demanding Monster Mile that have a better shot at hoisting the Monster Mile Trophy.

Matt Kenseth Roush Fenway Ford

Matt Kenseth may not have momentum heading into this race but he does have the skill and stamina needed to get to the winner's circle in the Dover AAA 400 this weekend.  The Roush Fenway power plant, and their improved geometry on their cars, makes Matt Kenseth an odds on favorite to drive to victory in the Dover AAA 400.

David Reutimann Michael Waltrip Racing Toyota

There is no NASCAR driver more dangerous than the ones not in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Chase.  Reutimann knows this track well and finished fifth here in the spring race.  Reutimann is a smart driver that is well prepared for the physical demands involved when racing this one mile track that races like a super speedway. David Reutimann has an excellent opportunity to upset the NASCAR Chase apple cart and take home a win.

Kurt Busch Penske Racing Dodge

Kurt Busch has struggled the last five races but he has remained at the top of the points.  Steve Addington is the perfect personality to deal with Kurt Busch and this concrete speed track could play right into their hands.  Don't be surprised if Busch doesn't take a big chunk out of Denny Hamlin's NASCAR Chase points lead in this race.  Busch can win the Dover AAA 400 but a top-three is more of a possibility.

Carl Edwards Roush Fenway Ford

Concrete Carl is in his element for Dover and he has always performed at his best on concrete tracks in his career.  Edwards knows he still has an outside chance to win the NASCAR Sprint Chase and he will need to perform well at tracks that suit his style.  Expect Carl Edwards to be in the top five late in the Dover AAA 400.
