Hate It Or Love It: WWE Night Of Champions

Now I'm a few days late, but that's because I had to purchase the rewind of Night of Champions. So for the past few days I have been trying to avoid Bleacher Report and any other wrestling sites. I watched Night of Champions and here is my second installment of "Hate It or Love It."

Hate It: Big Show beating CM Punk
What was the point of this match? It wasn't a championship match, It was overall an O.K. match, and WWE had it after Big Show already beat CM Punk and 2 other guys at the last pay per view? I kind of liked the idea of this match because I thought Punk was going to win and show some fight. This was sadly a waste.

Love It: Dolph Ziggler retaining the Intercontinental Title
Usually this might be under the hate it category, but Dolph won cleanly and I'm starting to really respect him as a wrestler. Plus it sets up a cool love triangle story with Vicki. As far as Kofi Kingston goes, I feel this was to push him on to bigger things. Maybe give him a tag team partner to challenge Cody Rhodes and "The Chosen One". Or hopefully it sets him up to be in the World Title picture as soon as the Taker/Kane feud is over.

Hate It: The Undertake/Kane match being So/So
I feel like I know why they had this match. The past months they've been showing us Kane gaining strength and they felt the need to spend another Pay Per View on showing us just how much power Kane is gaining over Undertaker. Also it was so/so because as I have mentioned in a few of my articles, I think were going to be in for a real treat at Hell In A Cell with these two. Still, this match was one of the most looked forward to matches and it lacked for me.

Love It: The Tag Team Title Gauntlet
Everyone is hating on this, calling it pointless, stupid, and horribly put together with the title holders going first. I loved it! I even loved Mark Henry and Evan Bourne as a tag team. When they were attempting to do Bourne's shooting star press off of Mark Henry's shoulders, I thought it could of been one of the most awesome moments of the night. Listen, I agree the NOC match should of been the match on Smackdown 2 days earlier, but I'm happy because I got to see tag team action, it was a fun match, and new champs were crowned. As technically sound as the Hart Dynasty is, they are so boring and lame.

Hate It: Miz Not Cashing In His Money In the Bank
It was Randy Orton's night and I get that, but wouldn't that be the most opportune time? And it would of added the twist of the night. Or if they plan on him being the first MITB loser, why not strengthen Orton's heat even more by having him give The Miz one of the many RKO's of the night?

Love It: Chris Jericho and John Cena's Reactions to being eliminated from the 6-Pack Challenge
Loved how all the wrestlers stopped what they were doing... even Randy Orton, the man who just RKO'd and pinned Jericho. They were all in shock and Jericho was the best. One of the premiere talents in the WWE for sure. Then I love Cena going berserk after the Nexus interfered for the millionth time and hitting them all with chairs, essentially helping Orton.
