FC Bayern Munich: 270 Minutes, Hoffenheim Awaits
Any fan of the beautiful game would have refused to believe the fact that a team which gave Roma a lesson in football drew a blank against Koeln.
Bayern 0-0 Koeln
Another home game goes by and the result does not change. Bayern once again drew 0-0. They had close to 80 percent of the possession and failed to win due to wasting their chances. Miro Klose, Thomas Mueller, and Mario Gomez were all wasteful in front of goal. Koeln's game plan was a simple one: stop Bayern from scoring. The team carried out the plan excellently; the "Billy Goats" had two chances in the game but failed to convert both.

Louis Van Gaal must have something against playing a 4-4-2 formation. His side are not scoring and yet, he refuses to play with two forwards despite the fact that playing with two forwards was what eventually won the game for Bayern against Roma. Bayern is seven points behind Mainz and five points behind their upcoming opponents Hoffenheim.
Hoffenheim vs Bayern
Bayern pays a visit to the Rhein Neckar Arena hoping to finally score a goal after 270 minutes of Bundesliga football without one. Bayern only scored in one match in the Bundesliga and that was during the opening day of the season. Hoffenheim is one team which will be willing to play football rather than put ten men behind the ball in a desperate attempt to prevent Bayern from scoring.
However, the Sinsheim side are probably going to be without unfit duo Vedad Ibisevic and Sejad Salihovic. This could potentially be a reason for Hoffenheim to defend desperately against the Bavarians. Hoffenheim, though, will be at home and will perhaps go for a win. Bayern's defence isn't the best but the team could really use a game where their opponents will actually try to defeat them rather than run away with a point.
The panic button hasn't been pushed in Bavaria yet as Bayern's football continues to be eye-catching and just lacks the finishing touch. The holders are falling behind in the race for the title and really need to pick up some points
Louis Van Gaal will perhaps stick with the side he started against Koeln with Hans-Joerg Butt in goal, Philipp Lahm, Daniel Van Buyten, Holger Badstuber, and Diego Contento in defence, Bastian Schweini and Mark Van Bommel in midfield, Toni Kroos, Franck Ribery, and Mueller in attacking midfield and with Klose as the lone front man.
Prediction: It's about time that Bayern won a game in the Bundesliga. This will perhaps be their first win since opening day; somehow though, this game is pointing towards an exciting draw.
Final Score: Hoffenheim 2-2 Bayern
