Throwing Em Out There: My Night of Champions Predictions

RiZESep 19, 2010

Before I start, I know tons of Bleaches have already made Prediction articles. But due to a couple of people asking me what I think is going to happen, I'm just going to air it out for the whole B/R. So here u have it.

Michelle Mccool vs Melina

This rivalry has been two years in the making. The two top Diva's in the WWE squaring off for the Ultimate Prize. Unifying the titles was a surprisingly good idea by Creative. It has been on life support for the last few months. Maybe this could breath some life into the Diva's division. Many of you think since Layla said she wouldn't be accompanying Michelle that she would lose right. I disagree. I would love to see Melina win this match, but I'm going to go with the obvious.

Winner: Michelle Mccool

The Big Show vs CM Punk

Big Show has been dominating CM Punk since their feud began a few months back. Single handedly destroying the Straight Edge Society. Beating them in a handicap match at Summerslam. Knocking CM Punk out on Smackdown! Seems like the momentums on Show's side huh? Indeed. But since the way he has been getting buried lately, I'm thinking the Straight Edge Messiah makes his return to prominence tonight.

Winner: CM Punk

Kofi Kingston vs Dolph Ziggler

Boring is the best word to describe another match between these two. We've seen this match up five times already. Only good thing coming out of this feud is Kingston's apparent ascension to the main event level. With all the odds against Ziggler in this match, he has an ace. Vicky Guerrero. Mr Ziggles hasn't been champion that long, and if Kofi win's we would have to see another rematch. Ending Ziggler's reign would be premature and by all means, stupid.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

The Hart Dynasty vs ???

I really don't see why Creative hasn't decided opponents for these guys yet. Matter of fact, I don't understand the way they are being booked nowadays. Seriously People, Three title defenses in how many months? Losing to Chris Jericho on RAW?? The Tag Team Division is officially dead. With Morrison undoubtedly looking for revenge against Y2J tonight, I rule out him and R-Truth. But Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre seem like suitable opponents so I'm going with them. If Cody & Drew do go against the Harts, I don't see any reason for them to lose.

Winners: Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre

The Miz vs Daniel Bryan

I'm getting match of the night vibes from this one. These two have been at each others throats since the first episode of NXT. I knew it was going to come to a head once Bryan is officially added to the roster. His controversial release delayed this match, but we all knew it was going to happen eventually. If the Miz performs as well as he did with Orton and Cena, this could actually be a watchable match. Since the United States title is looking like a prop on the Miz, let someone else bring prestige back to it. He hasn't defended it in months anyway. Two words, Lebell Lock.

Winner: Daniel Bryan

Kane vs The Undertaker

It seems like the "Other Brother" is the most dominant. Kane destroyed the Phenom on Smackdown! He has been destroying him since Summerslam. I don't expect to see the same Undertaker tonight. He will undoubtedly have some offense against Kane. He may even get close to winning the match up. Since he seems to still be weak from his "vegetative state", The Undertaker will not be reclaiming the Holy Grail tonight. Kane will finally triumph over the Deadman. Until Hell in a Cell that is...

Winner: Kane

Six Pack Challenge

This match has puzzled me for the past few weeks. Going into the match The Viper has the momentum. Having RKO'd every other competitor in the last few weeks. Orton looks to be destined for his 7th title reign. Edge is a darkhorse at this point. Wade has four other reasons he could walk out the champion. John Cena is John Cena, Y2J will feel the wrath of the Shaman. Sheamus definitely doesn't go to well in matches with Five Other guys. Remember the Elimination chamber. The guy hasn't had a legit title defense yet. So who's it gonna be?? Cena is going to continue on with the Nexus so him and Wade are out. I don't know where Edge is going to go from here. Y2J is undoubtedly leaving the WWE. Sheamus and Orton. History taught us, no matter how much momentum you have going in, you will lose.

Winner: Sheamus

Reading some of the predictions on the B/R, most of you think the Miz will cash in his MITB after the Six Pack Challenge. I really don't see that happening, though it's a very strong possibility.
