Miami Dolphins Vs. Minnesota Vikings Key Matchup: Greg Camarillo Vs. Benny Sapp

Who would've thought that the Dolphins chances of starting out 2-0 could hinge on who got the better of the pre-season trade of Greg Camarillo and Benny Sapp?

But that very well could decide if Miami can win back-to-back road games.

Look, Miami knows its got to stop Adrian Peterson.  Miami knows its got to get pressure on Brett Favre.  It's starting two corners match up well with Percy Harvin (Vontae Davis) and Bernard Berrian (Jason Allan).  But the deal-breaker could come on the third wide-out vs third cornerback:

Benny Sapp and Greg Camarillo.

A month ago, it would have been Greg Camarillo and Benny Sapp.  But Miami felt concerned enough about its secondary depth it traded its most sure-handed receiver for hopefully a solid #3 cornerback.

Make sure Miami gets Brett Favre's thank you.

Favre has been nothing but singing Camarillo's praises since he's donned a Viking uniform.  And now that Camarillo has had a couple weeks to absorb some of the playbook, this would be his first good chance to get involved in the passing attack.

Make no mistake, Minnesota will challenge Miami's run defense with Adrian Peterson.  Minnesota will challenge Miami's pass rush with Brett Favre.  But Minnesota will also be challenging who got the better of the Sapp-Camarillo trade of less than a month ago.

And that challenge could very well determine if Miami goes home to host the New York Jets 2-0 or 1-1.
