Shout Out To All The Atlanta Braves Fans: COME ON!!!

Let me first begin telling you the difficulty of being a Braves fan living in Philadelphia. Over the last few years the fall season has brought me nothing but sorrow from the braves organization and laughter from obnoxious Phillies fans as they enjoyed their post-season success. At the start of this season everyone once again was on the Phillies bandwagon handing them the NL east title and the NL title without playing a single game. Was the praise unwarranted? No, simply annoying to a fan that was used to seeing the Braves win every season, no questions asked. Well that era of baseball is no longer upon us and the Braves are now just like any other team in baseball and have to actually play for their chance to play deep into October.

            With all that being said, this season for the most part has been a success for the Braves, but the season isn’t over. Fifteen games are left in the regular season and six of them are with the division leader Phillies. Knowing what’s at stake for the Braves, one hopes they will field a competitive group willing to leave it all out on the field. Hoping that they will take a lesson from Jeter and do whatever it takes to win these games. Praying that win the Braves come home, the fans will pack the stands in support of their team The Atlanta Braves. The Phillies faithful sold out each and every home game they had this year, that equals a packed stadium cheering for them. The Braves? Eh not so much. Our love for our team doesn’t translate into attendance at ballgames, which is depressing to watch from up here in Philadelphia.

            During these last few games of the season you can bet the Philly faithful will pack out Citizens bank and every city bar they can find to cheer and root for their Phillies. (Shout out to Fox and the Hound on 15^th street for the best chips and dip in Philadelphia) Braves fans living in New York,Philadelphia, and DC come out and support the Braves, and when they come back home to Atlanta PLEASE PACK THE HOUSE. Atlanta Braves fans COME ON!!!!!!
