I decided to make a six piece article series all about fact, trivia, statistics and "Did you know's?"

I just want to start off by saying R.I.P Chris, You had a brilliant career and that all there is to it. I am not going to refer to his death or the circumstance of the loss.

Chris Benoit was trained by Stu Hart in the infamous Hart Family Dungeon.
Other famous World Champion's like Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Chris Jericho, Edge, Ken Shamrock and also other legend's like Junkyard Dog and Mark Henry.
Chris Benoit was the second man to hold "The Big Gold Belt" twice. Once in WCW and once in WWE.
Bill Goldberg was the first man to hold the title in both promotions, Benoit was second and Booker-T (King Booker) was the third and final to date.
Despite feuding with Edge, Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho Did you know Benoit also held Tag titles with them.
All one time apart from his partnership with Edge as a unit they collectively won the titles twice.
The night Chris Benoit won his WWE World Heavyweight (WrestleMania 20) the match lasted just over 25 minutes that was the second longest WrestleMania main event (In recent times).
The match that beat it was WM23's main event between Cena and WWE Legend Shawn Micheals. That match lasted over 28 minuest.
Chris Benoit winning his World Title at WrestleMania 20 gathered an amazing 216847 views on hit website YouTube and it is under the title One Of The Greatest Wrestlemania Moments.
When HHH submitted to Benoit it made history as it was the first belt ever won by submission in a WM main event.

Did you know?
The night of Benoit's death he was scheduled to win his 1st ECW Championship but when Benoit did not appear the push was then given to John Morrison well it was Johnny Nitro at the time.
Chris Benoit share the same birthday with rock legend Bill Chaplin (May 21)
Also, On May 21 Red Sox pitcher Roger Clemens beats Yankees for his 200th win back in 1996.

Did you know?
Despit Dean Malenko's legacy he only ever won a tag title with Chris Benoit alongside him.
After a recorded episode of WCW programming Chris Benoit stated that he used to get "stage fright" when he first entered the bussiness but he now looks back at that and laughs.
PWI ranked Chris Benoit #1 of the 500 best singles wrestlers in the PWI 500 in 2004.
Apart from Benoit's triumph in 2004 his best position in PWI 500 was in both 2000 and 2001 when he came 3rd both years in a row.
His best friend Eddie Guerrero came second to him in 2004.

Benoit became good friends with wrestler Eddie Guerrero following a match in Japan, when Benoit utilized an Enzuigiri kick and knocked him out cold.
This started a friendship that lasted until Guerrero's death in late 2005.
On June 25th 2007 a Chris Benoit Tribute Show aired instead of RAW and it got a rating of 3.8.
That is a higher rating than RAW's 900 and 800 celebration and also higher then the last 2 draft's and slammy awards and also Austins return to WWE as Guest Host.
Chris Benoit, Booker-T and Bret Hart are the only triple crown champions in both WWE and WCW.
WrestleMania 2000 is the only WM to not hold a traditional singles match.
At that WM Benoit won an IC championship.

It was Benoit's close friend Dean Malenko that invented the crippler cross face and not actually Benoit.
The shortest match in SummerSlam history was Orlando Jordan vs Chris Benoit. Benoit beat Jordan in 25.5 seconds.
