Matthew HesterSep 13, 2010

Matt Hardy is fine

It was reported the other day that Matt Hardy was sent home from the WWE European tour due to health concerns. Well as it would turn out these reports were false. Matt is said to be in Great Britain, and doing just fine.

Matt shortly posted on his Twitter shortly after reading the news on the dirt sheets. He was good hearted about it, but he did throw in a cheap dig on all those that reported it. Here is what Matt said on his Twitter below.

The Rock driving in the fast lane

For those that don’t know. The Rock will be appearing in the latest installment of the Fast and Furious. He is currently working on the shoot, and is reported to be massive. The Rock is one of the few wrestlers to ever be successful on the big screen.

His return to RAW has been rumored for some time now. While I still think it’s possible that we may see the Rock back. I don’t think it will be anytime soon. With shooting a new film and his other various projects, it just doesn’t seem likely.

WWE in more legal trouble

A French company is suing U.S. Senate candidate Linda McMahon's the WWE for the equivalent of $21.6 million. World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. is grappling against a Portugese apparel maker and a French merchandiser in a trans-Atlantic legal battle.

The WWE is alleging the Portugese Company violated a licensing agreement by selling counterfeit clothing to a French company that sold the products to supermarkets across France.

In July, the French company sued WWE in the Paris Court of First Instance, alleging that the clothing was not counterfeit. The lawsuit seeks damages of 17 million Euros — the equivalent of $21,632,489 based on the current exchange rate.
