Matt Kuchar might just be PGA of the Year in 2010.
His statistics alone are reason enough, but with another win this weekend, that should seal the deal.
If no one wins three times this season, he is the man. Kuchar leads the Cog Hill Tournament after day one with a very nice 64 which is minus seven.
My fantasy golf selections are much better this week so far.
Steve Stricker is at minus two in the A player spot.
Charley Hoffman is at one under and he is one of the B players along with Adam Scott who was even today.
Scott's backup will be activated for Friday as Dustin Johnson showed signs of life with minus three so far.
The C spot is occupied by Matt Kuchar who has been a fantasy point scorer most of the season.
First, fifth, 10th, and 12th are excellent for Day One of the Cog Hill/BMW Championship.
Other good players challenging Kuchar are Ryan Moore at minus six, Retief Goosen at minus four, Ian Poulter at minus four, and Charlie Wi also at minus four.
Dustin Johnson, who I mentioned, is at minus three along with Luke Donald, Justin Rose, and Brian Gay.
Steve Stricker is at minus two and has much good golf left hopefully.
This week I feel the fantasy team has a shot at a 1,2, 3, 4 finish.
Well, good luck with that.
