Tom Brady in a Car Accident

Adam Schefter and Mark Schlereth of ESPN have both tweeted that according to WEEI in Boston that New England Patriots quarterback was involved in a car accident this morning.

Initial reports are that Brady is only shaken.

As more news comes in, I'll update the article.

According to WHDH News 7 in Boston, Brady was described as "pretty banged up", but he did refuse medical treatment and will have the Patriots medical staff take a look at him.

9:20AM

NFL.com's Mike Lombardi is reporting that Brady is fine and only a little shaken from the accident.  Sources told him that Brady walked away from the car.

This of course would conflict with WHDH that said Brady was "pretty banged up". 

9:40AM

The Patriots are telling reporters that Tom Brady is fine after the accident and will report to practice today.  No word yet on if he will participate.

11:38AM

According to WHDH Brady was examined by doctors at Gillette Stadium.  He also attended meetings with the team and according to running back Kevin Folk he participated in walk-throughs.

11:46AM

Adam Schefter is reporting that Brady will practice this afternoon.

1:29PM

Brady's Audi was a loaner.

10:56PM

Adam Schefter is reporting that the accident this morning was Brady's fault.  Also Brady has signed a four year extension.
