The 10 Worst Moments In Ultimate Fighter History

Andrew GladstoneSep 6, 2010

"The Ultimate Fighter" started back in January 2005 and has since produced many memorable moments that have captivated the minds of mixed martial arts fans.

While the Ultimate Fighter has served as a proving ground that has launched careers for many fighters, there have been ugly moments in the show that as fans we have been disgusted by and there have been times we as fans prayed that mainstream media didn't tune in.

These are the 10 worst moments in Ultimate Fighter history.

Warning: Some of what is shown is graphic and not intended for young viewers.

10. Ken and Tito Trash Talk

1 of 10

Ultimate Fighter season: 3

Just for fun, I thought I'd mention the bad trash talking between former UFC superfight champion Ken Shamrock and former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz.

Ortiz easily got under the skin of Shamrock, and Shamrock looked lost for words and tried to come up with stuff I guess that Shamrock himself would only be offended by.

While some may have forgotten how bad Ortiz and Shamrock were at talking smack, you can rewatch it at approximately 5 minutes in.

On a side note who would really be offended if Shamrock called you a "bench monkey"?

9. Junie Browning Hits Shane Primm With Glass

2 of 10

Ultimate Fighter season: 8

Junie Browning was notorious for his drunken actions on the eighth season of the "Ultimate Fighter,"but perhaps the worst of the worst was when he hit Shane Primm by throwing a coffee mug at him and then Browning tried to take a swing at Primm immediately after.

All Shane Primm had done before Browning lost his cool yet again, was tell him, "I'm from the Show Me state, you don't got to tell me anything, you just got to show me" in reference to Browning saying he'd be the most successful fighter off the show.

This was one of the many times Junie acted out, but to the surprise of many, Dana White didn't kick him off the show and put him in against Efrain Escudero.

8. Chris Leben Urinating On Jason Thacker's Bed

3 of 10

Ultimate Fighter season: 1

In one of the worst moments of season 1, was when Chris Leben took it upon himself to urinate on the bed of Jason Thacker as a prank.

This scene was one of the shocking moments in the first season, as Leben presented himself as a loose cannon when he was drunk.

7. Jesse Taylor Urinates On Himself Over And Over

4 of 10

Ultimate Fighter season: 7

For those of us who watched season 7, Jesse "JT Money" Taylor left quite an impression on all of us.

While Taylor proved to be one of the best fighters on the show, he clearly embarrassed himself on almost a regular basis.

Throughout much of the season, Taylor would get drunk and urinate on himself for the cameras so that all of the MMA community could watch.

6. Noah Inhofer Leaves The Show

5 of 10

Ultimate Fighter season: 3

It was the sixth episode into season 3 where middleweight favorite Noah Inhofer decided to leave the show due to getting a letter indicating that his girlfriend had cheated on him.

Dana White had spoken to Inhofer and tried his best to convince him to say, but apparently interrogating his girlfriend was more important than a chance to fight in the UFC.

5. Jason Guida Misses Weight For Try Outs

6 of 10

Ultimate Fighter season: 8

Perhaps one of the more unpleasing moments of the "Ultimate Fighter" was when Jason Guida came in way out of shape for the tryouts for season 8.

Guida fought hard to try and cut the weight and ended up spitting and making himself puke in a bucket but still came in 2 pounds over for the light heavyweight division requirement.

It was at that point where the doctor stepped in and said that Guida could not lose any more weight in a healthy manner,

4. Bobby Southworth Offends Chris Leben

7 of 10

Ultimate Fighter season: 1

On episode five of the first season, Bobby Southworth and Chris Leben were in a war of words, and Bobby Southworth ended up going for the groin when he said, "Don't f***ing talk to me, you fatherless bastard."

3. Gabe Ruediger Misses Weight

8 of 10

Ultimate Fighter season: 5

In what has to be one of the worst moments of the show, Gabe Ruediger made a disgusting half-hearted attempt at making the 155-pound weight limit.

Throughout much of the show, Ruediger would not watch his weight at all by eating all sorts of junk food and not training hard.

It was on the fifth episode where Ruediger passed out naked and an ambulance was called to come get Ruediger when he made the cut from 173 pounds to 159 pounds and missed the lightweight limit.

2. Splushi

9 of 10

Ultimate Fighter season: 8

Perhaps by far one of the most disgusting pranks ever done on the "Ultimate Fighter" show was when Kyle Kingsbury ejaculated into Philippe Nover's sushi and then David Kaplan ate two pieces of the sushi.

The reason behind the disgusting prank was to get back at the person who had been eating Nover's sushi and to catch him in a very unconventional way.

1. Jesse Taylor Smashes Limo And Terrorizes Female Hotel Patrons

10 of 10

Ultimate Fighter season: 7

At No. 1 is Jesse Taylor's disgusting actions before the finale.

One night Taylor got drunk and kicked out the glass of a limousine window and then proceeded to go into a casino and terrorized female hotel patrons at a hotel in Las Vegas.

This was the first time in the history of the "Ultimate Fighter" that a fighter was kicked off the finale.

In my opinion, Dana White made the right decision of kicking Taylor off the finale for such heinous actions.
