NHL Today (9/6): Neal, Nolan, Fleischmann, Ortmeyer, Zubrus, and More
James Neal
Sources are reporting that negotiations between Neal and the Dallas Stars aren't going too well. The Stars have a glut of left wingers and maybe Neal just isn't in the picture. He'd make a great trading piece.

Draft Lottery Winners and Losers
As I reported yesterday, the San Jose Sharks are not interested in Owen Nolan. However, sources believe that the Anaheim Ducks and the Los Angeles Kings are interested in him.
Tomas Fleischmann
The Washington Capitals are still looking to make a trade. They are most likely looking for a tough defenseman as they were one of the teams interested in Kevin Bieksa. Sources are saying that the Capitals' main trading piece is winger Tomas Fleischmann.
He had been rumored to go to Vancouver for Bieksa earlier. It makes sense that he is still on the trading block.
Jed Ortmeyer
Fluto Shinzawa of the Boston Globe is reporting that former Bill Masterson trophy finalist Jed Ortmeyer is still looking for a job and that the Chicago Blackhawks and the Los Angeles Kings have some interest in him.
Dainius Zubrus
It seems like Dainius Zubrus might be the one out of New Jersey to accommodate Ilya Kovalchuk's contract. A few sources are saying that the Toronto Maple Leafs have some interest in him.
