Anaheim Ducks 2010-'11 Fantasy Hockey Preview

We are now a month away from the start of the 2010-'11 NHL regular season, and I think it's a great time to start publishing my fantasy preview articles for every single team.

When looking at a player and predicting how he will fare offensively this season, there are a lot of things to look for. Is the player at an age where he will improve or decline? Is he playing with new linemates this year? Did his team acquire some players who may push them down the depth chart?

Those are just a few of the questions needed to be asked and I believe I can accurately predict a player's point totals for the upcoming season. Of course, things like injuries are impossible to predict, so these are best case scenarios.

Sure Bet: Ryan Getzlaf. Slipped a little bit last year and also missed time due to injury. Expect him to score more then the 19 goals he had last year and also for him to climb back into the top 15 scorers.

Dark Horse: Teemu Selanne. I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict that Selanne plays at least 70 games for the first time in three seasons, doing so while scoring at nearly a point per game clip.
