Captian Charisma... World Heavyweight Champion By Hell In a Cell?

gene DemaioSep 3, 2010

There are several guys in the WWE who the are unanimously adored. John Morrison, Matt Hardy to name a couple. What we love about them is that they are WWE home grown guys who are both extremely talented and over who have not yet tasted the WWE's top prize. While we've watched Morrison toil away in obscurity on Raw, where he should not have been drafted to in the first place, there is another member of the group who may finally be ready to break through. His Name is Christian. Christian has accomplished so much in his career, one of the best tag team champs of all time racking up 7 reigns as a member of Edge & Christian. He also single handedly carried ECW for the majority of last year up until it finally went under (which was not Christians fault not even Cena could save that show). Christians time is now Here is the scenario:

Kane defeats Undertaker at Night of Champions CLEANLY and attacks him after the match.

Next up is Hell in a Cell. During the weeks leading up to the PPV undertaker will not be seen and Kane will brag about how he destroyed his brother.

The no 1 contender will have to be someone new, since taker and Rey are out.

Regardless of the no 1 contender i think what will happen at Hell in a Cell is Undertakers bells ring he appears outside the cell the lightning goes off and he rips the door off of the cell just like Kane did on his debut and attacks Kane, leaving his opponent to pick up the spoils, new WHC.

Now the question is who will face Kane at HiaC?

There are a ton of options because in reality No one is a great pick.

Punk has lost a ton of steam since getting his head buzzed by Rey at OTL and now it seems like the SES is broken up. Maybe he goes on a dominating run and defeats the big show on his own to set up a WHC title run.

Giving the Big Show the WHC will accomplish very little if anything.

MVP and Matt Hardy are mid carders for life and that's good because we need some guys like that.

Dolph has the IC title and should hold on to that for a while.

Kofi is a possibility because hes starting to resemble the Kofi that feuded with Orton last year.

Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes are both on a roll, especially Cody, but i think theyll be tag champs by Hell in a Cell

WWE.com spilled the beans that Alberto Del Rio will be a big deal very soon (http://www.fanhouse.com/2010/08/23/wwe-com-accidentally-reveals-plans-for-alberto-del-rio/) but now the question is, how big and how quick. He already took out Rey, is a title next in  line for him? If so how soon?

Swagger is another possibility. His title reign was booked absolutely terribly and the way i have the no 1 contender winning seems like a Swagger way of winning. Is the WWE going to give him a second chance with the title, like they did with Sheamus or will they admit it was a flop and move on from him. Remember Sheamus also had a very good feud with Triple H to build his character back up after his pathetic reign. Swagger hasn't done anything on SD other than complain after losing the title.

There is also the possibility that a trade happens to bring some Raw stars to SD once it moves to SyFy. I believe this will happen and Sheamus and Morrison will come to the blue but we can't predict this.

All that leaves is Christian. Recently on Smackdown Christian has been stuck in De Ja Vu, he's been having the same match with Drew McIntyre every week. Drew dominates him the whole match until Christian takes advantage of his aggressiveness and wins via roll up. So not only is there a solid feud going on between him and a good heel but it looks like he'll have some momentum going into a number one contenders match. The seeds have also been planted for a feud with Del Rio on SD. Plus he has some history with Jack Swagger from their ECW days.

Look what we just did right there. We gave the title to a guy who has earned his way to the top, is talented, experienced, and ridiculously over with the crowd and it created 3 potential feuds with the brands top up and coming heels. Not to mention that that it potentially sets up an epic match with Kofi at TLC, reminiscent of last year's ladder match between Christian and Shelton.

So WWE this is all I ask of you, do the right thing, give Christian the WHC and reap the benefits.

What do you think, Kane won't have the title for much longer and it wont be Taker or Rey, so who will be the next WHC in your opinion.
