Pros/Cons: Cena Turning Heel

Everyone has been fighting for months now arguing if the money maker for the WWE should make a Bash at the Beach move and turn against all his fans who have supported (hated) him for the last few years.  Let us take a gaze to what could happen if he did actually shock the Universe and turn heel.

Pro: New Character

From reading everyone else's articles, we all are getting tired of Superman.  Come on Cena!  Do SOMETHING different.

 No? Sigh...ok.

But seriously, Cena's character obviously wouldn't portray a heel persona.  I don't think the Doctor of Thugonomics would fit in this time either.  I want Cena to turn into what reports have been saying about him lately.  He should attack random wrestlers (Faces and Heels alike) and claw and kick his way to the Championship.  No more ridiculous T-Shirts or Pleasing the Fans Promos.  Those are stale and 90% of us are ready to throw in the towel everytime he gets a mic.  

Con: Little Kids Have to Look Up To Others

This doesn't sound too bad but lets think about it.  Little kids who watch Raw and support Cena would be devastated if their hero turned "bad".  So they would go to the next wrestler who everyone claps for...Randy Orton.  

I am a Ortonite through and through...but how many people want to see a bunch of kids acting like they are hearing voices in their head while RKO'ing their fellow classmates and punting them in the head?  

Ok...that actually sounds really cool...but still BAD!!!

Pro: New Storylines

This basically speaks for itself.  New feuds, new ideas to run with.  I'm not going to type a huge slide which doesn't really deserve explanation.

Con: Losing Money

Yeah.  I know WE don't care about how much money Vinny O'Mac makes.  He does though.  Cena's merch is always a hot item (that's why they continue to change it and make kids make their parents buy them the newest Cena shirt.  The other hot item is Rey Mysterio's mask...and he honestly won't be around for much longer.  They need merch sales, and Cena provides that.

Pro: The IWC

Everyone wants Cena heel.  It's interesting and we are bagging on him because he won't turn heel.  No matter how many wishes he grants, he still is the 5 Moves of Doom in most of our eyes still.  

I have a wish, turn heel please.

Con: The IWC

How quick are we to turn on a wrestler as soon as someone points out a flaw?  It's actually pretty pathetic for all of us. 

That's popular opinion though and that's what rules WWE, Who do we like and who we don't.  If Cena turned heel, how long would it be till someone posted an article saying his mic skills aren't good enough for a heel, or how he doesn't fit the heel persona, or how boring he is as a heel.  We will just attack him because he is John Cena and he is the alpha dog as of now.  I don't like Cena and most of the time find him stale, but he is the face of the WWE and he will be for the next couple years at least.   

We gotta cope with it.
