Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao: The Fantasy Is Over

So I looked at Joel Seeman's article on the Bleacher Report to see what he wrote on the topic of Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. I wasn't impressed.

What he wrote about the fight that took place August 31 between the two boxers was a fantasy.

His account of the fight might play out in a video game.

Just imagine the creators of EA Sports designing a game featuring the top two pound-for-pound fighters in the world before they actually fight for real.

The fantasy world that Seeman lived in is understandable only to him.

In his "fantasy" boxing match, he reported Mayweather beat Pacquiao to go 42-0.

According to his account, Pacquiao won the first three rounds. Then Mayweather charged back. Later, Mayweather cut Pacquiao's eye, which continued bleeding in the ninth round.

Pacquiao's left hook dropped Mayweather and knocked him down. Mayweather then boxed from a distance in the latter part of the fight to win a unanimous decision.

Some fantasy, isn't it?

There's a slight comparison between the warrior and the chicken in their bouts against other fighters that went the distance. 

In Mayweather's career, he went the distance 16 times to Pacquiao's 14.

If you look at the number of quality fights that Pacquiao had that went the distance and compare that to Mayweather's, the Pac-Man is the clear winner.

Juan Manuel Marquez (twice), Joshua Clottey, and Miguel Cotto gave Manny a run for his money in those fights.

Three of Floyd's last four fights went the entire 12 rounds, all against fighters on the Golden Boy roster.

Ricky Hatton took Mayweather to the brink before getting knocked out in the 10th round.

The power from Pacquiao helped put Hatton and De La Hoya away before the scheduled 12 rounds.

Do you think Pacquiao wants to go all 12 rounds with Mayweather? He wants to end the fight as soon as possible.

Why couldn't Mayweather use his power to knock those same two guys out? Maybe he doesn't have as much power as Pacquiao.

Some of you refer to Mayweather as "gayweather."

I'm not calling him gay, even though some of those people are happy all the time.

By the way, Floyd's middle name is Joy.

If you want, you can connect his middle name to his sensitivity nature and still call him a chicken who clucks.

A chicken who can't agree to a real fight with a warrior is a coward.

The warrior will hunt for his chicken, beat him to a pulp to, and serve him up to the fans.

After Mayweather's face is rearranged, they won't call him "pretty boy" anymore.
