Tampa Bay Buccaneers Preseason Preview : What We'd Like To See
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers play their second preseason game Saturday night, the home opener against Kansas City.
The telecast will be blacked out in the Tampa Bay Area, a harbinger of things to come this regular season. No sellout equals blackouts and the Glazers have indicated they won't be buying up unsold tickets so that you can watch on television.
But that does not stop us from the task at hand.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Chiefs, might we say, the lowly Chiefs, those 4-12 Chiefs of last season and losers last week to Atlanta, 20-10, are coming to town and here's a look at some scenarios for Saturday night.
THE OFFENSE
Keep in mind that the Chiefs were ranked 31st against the run last year and 22nd against the pass, with that in consideration, this wish list.
Josh Freeman: Continue to show the poise and ability to avoid the rush. Great scrambling against Miami on an awful field. The superb turf at Raymond James should give him even more confidence. Keep doing what you're doing, get in some good work, call it a night early.
Cadillac Williams: He ran hard and well in Miami. A few carries against KC wouldn't hurt.
Derrick Ward: This guy really needs to redeem himself in a big way.
Needs to show he wants to run the ball and quit pointing fingers and passing blame for his own lack of desire and production.
If he doesn't come up big, then perhaps no one will miss him and his $3.5 million salary AND that ridiculous Lamborghini.
Kareem Huggins: Would be great to see him get a few reps behind the first team offensive line.
Reggie Brown: Will start in place of the injured Maurice Stovall. A chance to see how he'll to with the first team.
Raheem Morris said normally Sammie Stroughter would be the starter but we're all with Raheem on this one, we know what Sammie's got.
Mike Williams: Keep doing what you're doing.
Arrelious Benn: Had a huge practice on Tuesday. Looked like a new man. Time for his to step up.
Josh Johnson: Needs to look better than he did last week. Didn't show much progress, his only weapon is his feet right now.
THE DEFENSE
Brian Price: It would be really, really nice if this guy could even practice. But he didn't practice Tuesday morning. He did come out and practiced in the afternoon, which was a light practice.
Gerald McCoy: How about a tackle, Gerald?
Linebackers: Jamaal Charles for KC is a pretty good runner. He'll probably play very little but let's hope the fellas make sure he exits early with no yardage.
Sabby vs. Sean: Piscitelli vs. Jones. The battle is on. Round two Saturday night. Raheem says there will be a winner by the third game next week.
D-line: Get a push on the passer, get some sacks, clog the running lanes. Three assignments that will carry through to the regular season.
Brent Bowden: Would love to see what he can do with a dry football.
Last week's 10-7 loss to Miami was meaningless. Morris passed on the opportunity to kick an easy field goal and opted for a fourth-down touchdown try. That was a good thing, more suited to a game situation in the regular season. Can't beat up on the coach for that.
One footnote, Bucs fans will get to see the player many experts thought the Bucs might have taken in the draft—former Tennessee safety Eric Berry, who was the top pick of these Chiefs.
That being said, it's time for a victory. Kansas City has no playoff expectations this season.
Does that remind you of another team?
