Tottenham Hotspurs vs. Manchester City
1 of 10
August 14 2010.
Venue: White Hart Lane
Game Score: Spurs 0 - 0 City
Outstanding performance was by the City goalkeeper Joe Hart, unfortunately I could not get a good still for him. Gareth Bale was superb from Spurs and was mesmerizing the defense at times.
The picture shows Bale tackling Micah Richards from Man City.
Aston Villa vs. West Ham
2 of 10
August 14 2010.
Venue Villa Park.
Score: Aston Villa 3 - 0 West Ham
Scorers: Stewart Downing (AV), Styliyan Petrov (AV), James Milner (AV)
The still shows Villa's young-star Marc Albrighton, who did put up a splendid performance there, in race for the ball against West Ham's Julien Faubert.
The crowd gave a huge applause to the leaving James Milner.
Blackburn Rovers vs. Everton
3 of 10
August 14 2010.
Venue: Ewood Park
Score: Blackburn 1 - 0 Everton
Scorers: Nikola Kalinic (BR)
The picture is from the match showing the fooled goalkeeper of Everton Tim Howard with a joyful Kalinic.
Bolton Wanderers vs. Fulham
4 of 10
August 14 2010.
Venue: Reebok Stadium
Score: Bolton 0 - 0 Fulham
A total boring match, the still shows a moment where Bolton's Bobby Zamora races against Bolton's Paul Robinson for the ball which could not find a net!
Sunderland vs. Birmingham City
5 of 10
August 14 2010.
Venue: Stadium of Light.
Score: Sunderland 2 - 2 Birmingham
Scorers: Darren Bent (Sun), Stephen Carr (Birm City), Scott Dann (Birm City) and Liam Ridgewell (Birm City)
What a moment of penalty as Carr fouls against Fraizer Campbell of Sunderland. Carr later even scored an own goal. Not man of the match, Carr was surely the man to watch.
Wigan Athletic vs. Blackpool
6 of 10
August 14 2010.
Venue: DW Stadium
Score: Wigan 0 - 4 Blackpool
Scorers: Marlon Harewood (2, Blackpool), Gary Taylor-Fletcher (Balckpool), Alex Baptiste (Blackpool).
The picture steals a moment where Hugo Rodallega of Wigan struggles against Alex Baptiste of Blackpool.
PS: this match was perhaps one of the best surprises of the season.
Wolverhampton vs. Stoke City
7 of 10
August 14 2010.
Venue: Molineux Stadium
Score: Wolves 2 - 1 Stoke
Scorers: David Jones (Wolves), Steven Fletcher (Wolves), Abdoulaye Faye (Stoke)
The happy moment is from the match after David Jones pulled in a goal for Wolves.
Chelsea vs. West Bromwich Albion
8 of 10
August 14 2010.
Venue: Stamford Bridge
Score: Chelsea 6 - 0 West Bromwich
Scorers: Didier Drogba (3, Chelsea), Florent Malouda (2, Chelsea), Frank Lampard (Chelsea).
A great starting match for the Blues and a big embarrassment for WB, the still is from the match after Drogba celebrates his goal with tam mates Nicolas Anelka and John Obi Mikel.
Liverpool vs. Arsenal
9 of 10
August 15 2010.
Venue: Anfield
Score: Liverpool 1 - 1 Arsenal
Scorers: David N'Gog (Liverpool), Pepe Reina (Own Goal)
What drama on Super Sunday, two red cards in the match. Here the picture tells the story of one when Joe Cole of Liverpool was sent off by referee after committing a silly tackle on Arsenal's Laurent Koscielny.
You can take a look at this:
