Fantasy Football: Harry Douglas Sleeper
Harry Douglas was supposed to make an impact in the Falcons’ passing game in the 2009 season. His size/speed combination made him a perfect slot receiver in the Falcons offense.
He tore his ACL in training camp and missed the entire season.
Before the injury, he was slated to take over the #3 WR spot and push Michael Jenkins for playing time. Michael Jenkins has been disappointing during his NFL career, as he has only averaged 3 TD receptions, 39 receptions, and 601 yards receiving per season.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This past Friday night, Jenkins sustained a shoulder injury in a scrimmage that will keep him out 4-6 weeks. He is in jeopardy of missing the Falcons season opener against the Steelers.
“You are always concerned anytime any of your players goes down with an injury,” said Falcons head coach Mike Smith. “One thing I am certain of is that Michael will work very hard with our athletic performance staff and our training staff to get back out on the field as soon as possible.”
The Falcons have to get someone prepared to take over the #2 role for the season opener. The team passed on T.O. this off season, and will need a receiver to step up.
Harry Douglas is an explosive option, and if his ACL injury is fully healed, he could make an impact in his third season.
This situation bears watching in training camp, and Douglas could be a nice sleeper headed into the season.
