Jeff Francoeur to Be Traded?
According to Mike Puma of the NY Post the Mets are actively trying to trade outfielder Jeff Francoeur:
"According to an industry source, the team is trying to trade the right fielder, and could have a deal in place by the time the Mets finish their series in Los Angeles this weekend.
Francoeur would welcome a trade, according to a person friendly with the right fielder, if it gave him a chance to play every day.

With the return of Carlos Beltran and the emergence of Angel Pagan (.311 AVG) Jeff Francoeur has become the odd man out,and
rightfully so. He is hitting just .243 on the year with 8 HR, and 42 RBI while posting a dismal .295 OBP. Over his last 52 at-bats he has just 6 hits (.115) with 2 RBI and 0 HR.
