Quinton "Rampage" Jackson Set To Face "The Dragon" Lyoto Machida Nov. 20
Lyoto Machida didn't get Rashad Evans, but he did get himself a chance to prove that a rubber fight with Mauricio Rua is necessary.
Leaked on the Twitter account of Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and reported early this morning was the news that the Tennessee powerhouse would be fighting on Nov. 20—the unofficial date planned for UFC 123.
Rampage will be coming off a loss by decision to Evans to face Machida should the bout be finalized.
Machida, widely considered to be one of the most elusive strikers in MMA, will have a chance to prove that despite losing his first career bout to Rua at UFC 113, he does still hold that distinction.
What better way to prove yourself as legitimate competition for a champion than to knock off a former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion?
The B/R Community will give you updates on this situation as it develops.
