A Letter to "Perennial" Pedro (Feliciano)

Dear Pedro, where are you? Its been 6 days since I saw you last. I’m starting to get worried old friend.  After watching you pitch 6 times in 7 days, I’ve grown accustomed to seeing your shell necklace and cleverly tended facial fuzz exactly once every 48 hours (49 appearances in 98 days) .

Was it something we at MetsZilla said?  Perhaps you didn’t get notice but you’ve earned our 2010 ‘Zilla’ for ‘most reliable lefty reliever out of the pen.’  You faced some stiff competition from Oliver Perez (6.28 ERA) and Raul Valdes (5.40 ERA), but with your 2.34 Era and 12 Holds (10th In the NL) we gave you the  ever so slight edge.
