The 2010 season has reached its historically midway point of its schedule, making the perfect moment for this year Mid-Season Awards.
Disregard the predictions written back in April.
It is possible that the New York Yankees win it all once again. After all, right now they have the best record in all the majors.

However, the Bronx Bombers have to watch out for their perilous nemesis The Boston Red Sox and the threatening Tampa Bay Rays.
Notwithstanding, they also have to be careful with the surprising Texas Rangers and Chicago White Sox.
In the National League it looks that their will be very different post-season contenders than in 2009.
Now it appears the best teams are the Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds and the San Diego Padres.
Other teams that should be watched closely are the New York Mets and Los Angeles Dodgers. These are veteran teams that down the stretch they can be very menacing iin the division leaders hopes for a World Series run.
Regarding the Latino players, so far the very best are Miguel Cabrera and Ubaldo Jimenez.
