Steamboat Update, SummerSlam, NXT Rookie, And More.
Eric Bischoff recently wrote on his facebook blog that he won't be appearing on next weeks TNA due to prior commitments. What he's doing was not stated in the blog.
Jim Ross recently posted this on his Twitter account: "Steamboat out of ICU and should be released from Tampa hospital in a few days. Should be good to go in a month." I'm sure I speak for everyone on B/R when I say we wish you all the best Ricky, and hope you have a speedy recovery.
TNA Knockout Velvet Sky's salary has recently been raised. She signed a long term contract with TNA, which is reportedly three years. Her salary has gone from $300 per show to $600, this makes her one of the highest earning Knockouts at the moment.
*POSSIBLE SPOILER*: SummerSlam is said to be based around two returning superstars. Yes, you guessed it, Triple H and The Undertaker are due to return for SummerSlam, with Triple H having a grudge match with Sheamus and The Undertaker having a match with his attacker.
However, due to Triple H's recent surgery, it is still unclear whether he will be fit enough to wrestle by the summer. Another match set to happen is The Hart Dynasty and Natalya vs The Uso's and Tamina in a six person tag team match.
It's being reported that WWE officials are high on Husky Harris, a season two NXT rookie. It is felt that Harris has the ''it'' factor and some are even comparing him to WWE Legend Dusty Rhodes. At this point, WWE officials consider Harris to be the stand-out performer of season two of NXT.
That's all for now, more new tomorrow. If anything happens that is!
