What To Do With Michael Vick
Even World Cup players are familiar with falls from grace-Diego Maradona instantly comes to mind. However, Maradona managed to pick himself up and he was awarded the managing job for Argentina, whom he took to the quarterfinals in South Africa. Will Michael Vick get another shot in the NFL?
Vick was but a bit player last year in Philadelphia, and that was to be expected as the quarterback was coming back to the league after spending 18 months in jail for his role in a dog-fighting ring.
Vick was the third quarterback in Philadelphia behind Donovan McNabb and Kevin Kolb. He was essentially used as a Wildcat quarterback, going 6-of-13 for 86 yards and a touchdown, while rushing for just 95 yards throughout the season.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
You could see that Vick wasn’t the same dynamic player that he was for Atlanta in 2006, when he rushed for 1,039 yards. He just didn’t have the explosiveness to hit the corner like he once did.
But NFL football players saw glimpses of the player that tore through the league in the early part of the 2000s, and Vick may be better served leaving Philadelphia to get more action.
The Eagles traded McNabb to Washington in the offseason, leaving Kolb and Vick as the quarterbacks in Philadelphia. College football players will remember Kolb from Houston, where he lit up the Conference-USA with the Cougars, and he tossed a pair of 300-yard games last year when McNabb was hurt.
Kolb has also been with Philadelphia for four years now and knows the system that coach Andy Reid wants to play, which is why he probably has the edge over Vick, who has said that he wants more reps.
However, he may have compromised his position with more legal problems as he was allegedly involved in a shooting this summer. Police say Vick wasn’t the shooter, but it was at his birthday celebration.
That may be enough for teams to stay away from him.
Provided he comes out of his latest trouble unscathed, there are a number of teams that could use Vick.
Buffalo is hurting under center, and the fact that they have a terrible offensive line may be tempered by Vick’s ability to move around.
San Francisco would be a good place for him, as coach Mike Singletary wouldn’t stand for an undisciplined Vick to ruin what he has going with the 49ers.
Oakland is an obvious place, but they picked up Jason Campbell after Washington acquired McNabb.
Vick just turned 30 years old, so he hears the clock ticking on his NFL career, and if I had to lay an online betting wager, I'd say he won’t last the season in Philadelphia.
