Tiger Woods is Toast at ATT as Justin Rose Sheds Some Thorny Memories on Friday
Justin Rose is once again on top of a leader board, posting minus seven for two days' play at the ATT National to lead Charlie Wi and Jason Day by one shot.
Tiger Woods started off his day plus three after only six holes on Saturday. So he is toast, fried to a crackly crunch, for this event.
Currently, Tiger Woods is a non-factor, speaking about tournament winning and competing at the highest level.
At minus five and not too far off the pace would be Charlie Hoffman and Jeff Overton.
I see Overton's name so much lately with low numbers, he has to win one soon. He might be a sleeper pick for the British Open coming soon.
At three under par are two members of my fantasy golf team, which has lost ground the last couple of days.
Bo Van Pelt and Robert Allenby are at minus three, so the fantasy team has a shot to make up ground.
Ricky Barnes, who replaced Shaun Micheel for bad play resulting in a missed cut, is at minus one on Saturday so far, and plus one for the weekend. He is nine shots back.
I see Tiger has played eight holes now, and has gotten one back. He is still five over par for this tournament. That must really stink in Tiger's perfection-minded thinking process.
Sixty-seven players are currently beating Tiger Woods. That's out of the 70 that made the cut. Oh my god.
I will keep to my Overton prediction for the weekend. I've seen his name so often the last couple months, I believe he may be due for something big.
Have a great weekend. I know I will.
