Tiger Woods-Led Fantasy Team Bombs on Day One at The AT&T National
It's shots from places like this that will keep Tiger from mounting a charge on Friday, as his accuracy remains in question off the tee.
We certainly are craving those close iron shots to the pin that result in tap-in birdies.
Where are they, Tiger?
It's day two as Woods is minus one after six, after a disappointing first day plus three, while plenty of people are below par.
People who hardly belong in the same sentence as Tiger Woods, competitively speaking, that is.
Your leaders are at minus four with big names such as Arjun Atwal, Joe Ogilvie, Jason Day, and Nick Watney.
Those guys are followed by Ryan Moore. Carl Peterson, Billy Mayfair, Jeff Overton, John Mallinger, Brian Gay, and Michael Letzig all at minus three.
Tiger Woods scored 6 points for his plus three round? How does that work, anyway?
I'm still lost on how Yahoo scores on fantasy golf.
J.B. Holmes scored 12 points for playing to even par. Fredrik Jacobson also scored 12 points for staying at even par.
Shaun Micheel only scored 2 points with a plus five, and he was replaced for Round Two with Ricky Barnes who is one over on Friday after nine holes.
I am in the 85th percentile now, as this dropped me about 1000 positions in Yahoo Fantasy Golf.
I still, however, am ahead of all the experts, except one, who I trail by 84 points for the season.
I hope for a big day by Tiger Woods, J.B. Holmes, Fredrik Jacobson, and Ricky Barnes on Friday.
That's my team. and all is not lost, ......yet.
