Randall Cunningham's Son Dies in Tragic Hot Tub Accident

Tragic news broke out this morning the 2-year-old son of former NFL quarterback Randall Cunningham died in a hot tub accident at Cunningham's house, according to the "Las Vegas Review-Journal."

The accident occurred at Cunningham's Las Vegas-area home.

The police report indicated that a woman was overseeing several children at Cunningham's home when the drowning happened around 4:30 p.m. local time.

The report went on to say the woman pulled Cunningham's son from the hot tub and performed CPR until paramedics arrived. 

Cunningham's son was taken to a local hospital, where he died.

Police continue to investigate the incident, but as of now, they report it was simply an accident. 

Cunningham, who played his college ball at UNLV, is a pastor in the area.
