St. Louis Blues Clues: A Look At a Pair Of Trades Made By the Blues

The St Louis Blues organization was busy today making two trades in the hopes to improve their team.

Here is an overview of them:

St. Louis sends:

F Lars Eller

F Ian Schultz

Montreal sends:

G Jaroslav Halak

I'm personally surprised that Halak is on the move instead of possibly Price because of the way Halak played in the playoffs. St. Louis gave up a fair bit in Eller and Schultz, but they acquired a number one goalie who is in prime of his career.

St. Louis sends:

F Julian Talbot

Colorado sends:

F T.J Hensick

Just a swap based on the players' style of play, it will take a few years to see who really wins this deal.
