Lewis went 4-for-5 with two runs, two RBIs, and a SB to raise his average to .291.

Joel Pineiro, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim
Pineiro gave up one run on three hits with five Ks in eight innings to improve to 6-6 with a 4.45 ERA. He’s given up two runs in his past two starts (17 innings).


Angel Pagan, New York Mets
Pagan went 3-for-5 with a run (37), three RBIs (29), and his 14th SB. He’s hitting .288.


Jason Vargas, Seattle Mariners
Vargas gave up one run on five hits in 7.2 innings to improve to 5-2 with a 2.88 ERA.

 

Jamie Moyer, Philadelphia Phillies (pictured)
You probably heard it by now, but Moyer became the oldest pitcher (47) to beat the Yankees. He did it in remarkable fashion, allowing two runs on three hits with five Ks in eight innings, improving to 7-6 with a 4.76 ERA.


Jonathan Niese, New York Mets
Niese gave up three runs in seven innings to improve to 4-2 with a 3.64 ERA.
