Axed WWE Star Bryan Danielson To Return to Ring with Dragon Gate USA
Bryan Danielson has remained adamant that he is not ready to comment on his firing from WWE. That hasn't stopped him from moving on.
Dragon Gate USA announced that Danielson has been booked for the First Anniversary Show on July 24. His opponent has not been named.
Released superstars are typically barred from appearing on a competitor's television show for 90 days after his or her release. This does not extend to independent promotions.

Which is fine because I don't think that Danielson has much interest in TNA.
Danielson is also booked for Dragon Gate USA's sister promotion, EVOLVE, for the July 23 show.
Danielson has most commonly been associated with his work in Ring of Honor, a promotion that he, along with Desmond Wolfe (then known as Nigel McGuinness) and Christopher Daniels, are commonly credited as the "founding fathers." However, WWE's no-compete contract most likely prevents him from appearing on ROH on HDnet.
DGUSA founder Gabe Sapolsky likely made one of the best decisions of his life by booking Danielson for the reunion show. One could argue that Danielson is the hottest wrestler in the world right now, because his firing has been extremely controversial. Even WWE poster boy John Cena is speaking out against it.
The one-year anniversary is booked for the Philadelphia Arena, formerly known as the ECW Arena. This show is likely to be a sell-out, and the crowd is going to be wild. Front row seats are only $75.
Maybe Vince should buy a ticket and see the man who could've headlined Wrestlemania.
Ideally, I'd like Danielson to return to Ring of Honor, where he can feud with Daniels, who returned to TNA following a bizarre release. I got to see Danielson and McGuinness on the Final Countdown Tour, and it was truly amazing.
What do you guys think? Is this a good move for Danielson? Can magic happen once again in the ECW Arena?
