Season Standings
1.Tampa Bay Rays (22-8, +$1,333)
– Tampa Bay didn’t have a fantastic road trip this past week, going 3-3 combined in six games at Toronto and Texas. The pitching staff has to be concerning manager Joe Maddon, as the starting pitching was eaten alive on this roadie. As a team, the Rays conceded 32 runs over six games, and the only starter not to allow at least four earned runs in this turn around the rotation was LHP David Price, who didn’t give up an earned run in eight frames in one of the three wins on the trip.

2.Toronto Blue Jays (16-11, +$903) – Since the last time that we looked at the Blue Jays’ road successes, they have only played a three game road series in Anaheim (going 1-2). They have dropped five of their L/7 away from Rogers Centre and have a long road trip ahead of them with stops in Tampa Bay, Colorado, and San Diego.

3.San Diego Padres (15-11, +$731) – Much like the Blue Jays, San Diego has been spending a lot of time at home of late, and we haven’t quite had the chance to see whether it is going to keep up its strong road marks or not. The Pads lost the first two games in the City of Brotherly Love this weekend, and after finishing up a wraparound series with the Phils, they’ll head to Citi Field to tangle with the Mets.

Who’s Hot?
1.Los Angeles of Anaheim (5-0, +$525)
– It seems like the unfortunate injury to 1B Kendry Morales has had a great effect on the Halos. They’ve won eight of their nine games overall since that point, including earning three out of four wins in Kansas City and a three game sweep in Seattle. This is a hellacious 14 game road trip that Anaheim is on at this point, and if it continues to go this well, the Angels will be back in the AL West race in a heartbeat.

2.Boston Red Sox (4-1, +$296) – Does anyone realize that the Red Sox are back within 4.5 games of the Rays for first place in the AL East? A strong road run ended on Sunday with a loss in Baltimore, but Red Sox nation has certainly righted the ship and is doing its job to stick in the playoff hunt.

3.Kansas City Royals (3-2, +$291) – Since May 14th, the Royals are playing respectable baseball, as they are 13-11 and at least making some headway back towards the .500 mark. The road has been particularly kind in that stretch, as they are 5-4 and have made some great coin for MLB betting fans, including taking two out of four games in Boston as +175 or better underdogs in both of the wins.
