Nix went 3 for 4 with 3 runs, a HR, and 2 RBI. He’s hitting .260.
Takahashi started his first MLB game and pitched well despite getting a no-decision. He held the Yankees scoreless through 6 innings while picking up 5 Ks and lowering his ERA to 2.53.
Guillen went 2 for 2 with 2 HRs and 3 RBI. He’s hitting .268 with 11 HR and 31 RBI.
Bannister gave up 2 runs in 7-1/3 innings to improve to 3-3 with a 4.73 ERA.
Gomez held his own against his old team going 2 for 4 with a HR and 3 RBI. He’s hitting .288.
Young went 3 for 4 with 2 runs and 2 RBI. He’s hitting .267 with 18 RBI.
Edwin went 3 for 4 with 3 HR. He’s hitting .250 with 5 HR and 11 RBI.
Davis went 1 for 2 with 3 RBI and a SB. He’s hitting .246 with 14 SB.
Cahill gave up 1 run in 6-2/3 IP to improve to 2-2 with a 3.68 ERA.
Eckstein went 4 for 5 with 3 runs to bring his average up to .303.
Sweeney turned back the clock going 4 for 5 with 2 HR and 6 RBI. He’s hitting .276, but don’t expect games like this.
Bradley went 3 for 5 with 2 runs. He’s a talented hitter when his head in on straight. So far so good.
