On Saturday the free NBA play is on the Houston Rockets. Game 508 at 8:35 eastern. Houston is a 6 point dog here tonight vs the Lakers. These 2 teams have played some very close games this year with Houston winning in Los Angeles and losing here by one point. Tonight Houston comes in off 3 losses, a role in which they have relished this year as they are 4-0 this season on a 3 game skid. They are also 9-3 after shooting less than 405 in their last game. On Thursday they bombed big time losing at home to the La. Clippers. Tonight they get a Lakers team that was beat pretty good on the road last night 91-75 to Ok.City. The Lakers scoring less than 80 points? The Lakers are such a high scoring team that I was intrigued by how they do after such a low scoring out put. The results were nothing short of astounding. After a trip to the database I learned the Lakers are 0-12 straight up on the road off a road game if they scored 80 or less and their opponent is coming off a home game. Also of note is their terrible 2-9 ats spread record this year when coming off 3+ games that went under. Even with Guard K.Martin questionable the Rockets look like a solid play here.
