Looking to The Future

Now that the Raiders have let go of some dead weights on the defense they could billed a great defence with some good picks in a deep draft class. I think that the raiders could add a DT and it would solidify our line as one of the better ones in the NFL we have a good young guy in Desmond Bryant who almost had the same amount of tackles as Gerard Warren. if you look at the stats Tommy Kelly was one of the better defensive tackles in the NFL he just need someone to take up two blocks so he could run loose and get to the QB we have a player in Seymour that takes up two blocks if we add a big DT that would let him loose also and with Shaughnessy on the other side showed that he could be good player and a steal in the draft. There could be some players in the second and third round that could help like a Dan Williams or Cam Tomas or other guys that could help so with one good pick we could have a good line.

Next is the linebackers I think that the trade for Wimbley was good and he will play the sam linebacker position and i think Howard and Scott will compete for the will spot and I think Scott will win it he was good in that position and with one whole off season as a linebacker he will be a better player and I think he will lead the team in sacks and my even get ten or more this year if we could get a good MLB we could get Brandon Spikes in the third he is not fast but he is a football player and a good one at that, he could bring some of that Florida swagger or Sean lee would be a good pick up he is a good player I was looking at some Sean lee highlight video and saw number 43 Josh Hull look him up on youtube look up

he is always making a tackle, he is projected to go in the 7th or as a undrafted free agent if that's true we should pick him up he could be a steal he was a walk on to Penn state as a LB he must have some potential he had over over 100 tackles last year he is going to be a steal in the 7th round.

Finally the secondary its above average there are game where they cant throw on us  and sometimes we cant cover anybody but thats how our defense plays sometimes we have one of the best corners in nnamdi Asomugha and I dont think we should trade him for mcnabb we also have Tyvon Branch he was big surprise and I think he will only get better we also drafted Mike Mitchell but he got hurt but did play at the end of the year he had 1.5 sacks and with a good off season he could play more and contribute more this year michael huff player his best year so far and he could continue to get better this year then we got chris johnson and stanford routt chris johnson played good but when everybody throws the ball your way your bound to get beat so he still has to improve but he is a good player and then stanford routt was beat a lot but did show flashes of good like when he got that pick six against mcnabb that was called pass interference he also got a high tender so we have to see if he could get his game straight so he could play at a high level. we should try to pick up a cb in the late rounds and with nnamdi helping them out they could only get better.

so lets hope that the raiders draft smart so we can build a great defense
