Players To Watch In 2010

Last year, the Oakland Raiders showed some signs of hope. With out a doubt Bruce Gradkowski was one of the more obvious ones, but lets take a look at some others.

Lets take a look at the defensive side of the ball first. Matt Shaughnessy, played very good in his rookie year. Though he didn't play the whole season, he was a good fill in for the injury prone Greg Ellis. He showed his exsplosivness off the edge, his ability to stop the run and the energy needed to spark the defense. I really like this guy going forward, even though he will probably be replaced by Kamerion Wimbley.

Another on i like a lot is Trever Scott. Trevor really showed that he can play in the NFL last year. He's great on the line and as a linebacker. He's quick, smart, and big, now you can't argue with that. I can't wait to see what he can do this season.

Lastley, Tyvon Branch. He's vary young and has a lot of spark in him, which is great. He's a great tackler in the open field and is great in coverage. This kid could really be somthing speacial.

Now lets go to the offensive side. Lets start with Chaz Schilens. I personally love this guy, he's tall, has great hands, and has a great attitude. He was one of Jamarcus Russell's  favorite targets (behind Zach Miller who i will get to) which the Al Davis likes. This guy can no doubt be in the top five of recievers, with a good quaterback throwing to him. If injurys aren't a factor i exspect this guy to be great this year.

Johnnie Lee Higgins is my next guy I would like to see get a chance to play. He made some great pays when Bruce Gradkowski was throwing to him. I personally think that he should be a slot reciever but he would rather run down field. Although he's small i like this guys potential.

Last but not least, Zach Miller. He is great. He catches everything thrown to him even if there not the greatest throws. What I love best about him is his spirit, he loves the game and his team. I really hope this guy has a breakout year this year and makes it to the pro  bowl.

Those are the players I will be very excited to see take the field next year and make a difference. Just Win Baby!
