It's a little late considering March is nearing its end, but here are all pro football transactions involving former Miami Dolphins players for the month of February.
The Alabama Vipers (AFL) signed defensive lineman Steve Fifita to a contract. Fifita spent the 2006 and 2007 seasons with the Dolphins, appearing in 13 games (one start) for the team in 2007 and recording 11 tackles.
The Pittsburgh Steelers signed wide receiver Brandon London to a contract. London spent the entire 2008 season with the Dolphins, appearing in 14 games (one start) and catching three passes for 30 yards.
The Pittsburgh Steelers signed linebacker Renauld Williams to a contract. Williams split the 2004 season between the Dolphins' practice squad and active roster, finishing the season on injured reserve with a broken wrist before his release in the 2005 offseason.
The Tampa Bay Storm (AFL) signed defensive lineman Tim McGill to a contract. McGill spent parts of the 2005 season on the Dolphins' practice squad and active roster but did not appear in a game.
The Utah Blaze (AFL) signed defensive lineman Brian Soi to a contract. Signed by the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in July 2007, Soi was waived by the team during final cuts on Sept. 1.
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats acquired wide receiver Maurice Mann from the Edmonton Eskimos. Mann spent part of the 2004 season with the Dolphins but did not appear in a game.
The Toronto Argonauts (CFL) re-signed wide receiver P.K. Sam to a contract. Sam spent part of the 2006 season on the Dolphins' practice squad and played in NFL Europa for the team in 2007 before being released during final cuts.
The Calgary Stampeders (CFL) acquired wide receiver P.K. Sam from the Toronto Argonauts.
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats (CFL) signed cornerback Will Poole to a contract. Drafted by the Dolphins in the fourth round of the 2004 NFL Draft, Poole recorded 31 tackles, a sack, and five pass deflections in three seasons with the team.
The Cincinnati Bengals signed placekicker Dave Rayner to a contract. Rayner spent part of the 2008 offseason with the Dolphins between March and June.
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers released quarterback Casey Bramlet. Bramlet served as the Dolphins' third-string quarterback for part of the 2007 season but was released in April 2008.
The Seattle Seahawks designated placekicker Olindo Mare as their franchise player. The Dolphins' all-time scoring leader with 1,048 points, Mare was the Dolphins' placekicker from 1997 to 2006 after joining the team as an undrafted free agent. He was selected to the Pro Bowl in 1999.
The Utah Blaze (AFL) signed defensive lineman Manuel Wright to a contract. Drafted by the Dolphins in the fifth round of the 2005 Supplemental Draft, Wright appeared in three games and recorded four tackles and a sack in two seasons with the team.
