Why Portis To Denver Makes Sense
One of the reasons the Broncos had a mediocre season was because of a mediocre running game. The running game was okay, but with Knowshon, everyone expected it to be like Terrel Davis all over again.
Trading for Portis is the perfect idea. Portis had a bad season last year, but to all those stupid, brainless haters, that was because of bad blocking. Read a book haters. In the years before, portis was almost always pyling up 1,000 yard seasons including a 1,487 yard season in 2008 that led Portis to the Pro Bowl. Portis is exactly the kind of speedy, agile, smart HB the Broncos need. And the best part? It could actually happen.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This is also very good for the fans as well. Portis left Denver to Washington as a fan favorite and everyone loved him. The fans would love this too.
Portis might also want to consider going to Denver as well. He plays for the Skins so he has nothing to prove. Mike Shannahan will also never start him, so he should move to a team that will. Denver could certainly be that team.
Mike Shannahan is obsessed with passing. Not once will he run the ball this season. So why keep a great half back in a system where you are not even going to use him? Mike Shannahan will do ANYTHING to get rid of Jason Campbell, and Kyle Orton put up impressive numbers last season. Shannahan would probably love to have him in his system.
Personally, I am a Broncos fan and a Portis fan so I would love to see Portis back in Denver. Luckilly, McDaniels will be smart, Shannahan will be stupid, and we can finally get a deal that lands Portis, along with a Super Bowl trophy, in Denver.
