Raptors Suck = Bosh Gone

The Eastern Conference of the NBA is shaping up to be what every expert expected it be except for one team. The Toronto Raptors.  The stinker of the projected top 5 teams in the east. Orlando, Boston, Cleveland and Atlanta have lived up to the billing that they all are expected to live up too. The Raptors have stunk the joint out so bad that the I think the LA Clippers could beat them by 20.

First off, Hedo Turkoglu was the biggest  waste of money. 5 years at 50 million; can you say bust?

In Hedo's, defense, if a team is dumb enough to pay a guy that kind of coin for one good playoff run, then hey I would take it as well. It shows you how much he was needed in Orlando. They go out an sign an over the hill Vince Carter and they are still just has good maybe even better. SO Hedo you are a waste of money.

Second, the thought of signing Jarrett Jack was an awesome sign. He is a great tough nose point guard, which the Raps need because they are softer then cotton candy. BUT to think that this signing will keep Mr. Bosh in town after this season is a joke. He is long gone. The World Championships already has his mind wondering which superstar will he sign with. LeBron or D Wade? For my money I sign with the Ring (D Wade).

Thirdly, Andrea "I'm lazy" Bargnani. What was a worse draft pick: him or Rafael Aarujo from BYU? Right now they both seem the same.

One word sums up both, USELESS . Andrea shows a times the skill that made him a number one pick, but then there are games upon games where you have no clue where the seven footer is on the floor.

He gets compared to Dirk Nowitzki. If I was Dirk I would be insulted to have a player like this compared to myself.  This is a guy that could easily dominate the four and five spot, but Bargnani is lazy. I think if you beat him with a whip like a horse it still would not make a difference. He is only in the NBA to make the coin because in Europe the money is not the same.

Also, Here is a look at the last 10 drafts. Look at who the Raptors picked and who they passed up as those players where picked after.

2009 - DeMar DeRozan over Brandon Jennings and Ty Lawson

2008, 2007 - No pick

2006 - Andrea Bargnani over LaMarcus Aldridge, Brandon Roy, Rudy Gay

2005 - Charlie Villanueva over Andrew Bynum, Danny Granger, Nate Robinson and David Lee

2004 - Rafael Araujo over Andre Iguodala, Al Jefferson, Josh Smith, JR Smith, Jameer Nelson and Delonte West

2003 - Chris Bosh over Dwayne Wade, David West, Josh Howard

2002 - Kareem Rush over Tayshaun Prince and Carlos Boozer

2001 - Michael Bradley over Zach Randolph, Gerald Wallace, Tony Parker and Gilbert Arenas

2000 - Morris Peterson over Micheal Redd.

Just imagine the team the Raptors would have when you look at all the players underlined who I would have drafted instead.

In the end, this season will seem like a dream to what lies ahead for Raptor fans. Once Bosh leaves then winning 20 games a season will seem like an accomplishment.
