Turn The Page
As a die hard Browns' fan I have to roll with it. Mike Holmgren utilized a method known as original position type thinking. Basically putting yourself in someone else shoes.
If he were coaching this year based on what is available Jake Delhomme would be his guy. The trading of Brady Quinn signals that this is indeed his show. No more of this hometown hero crap that Cleveland fans have yucked up to since the days of Bernie. It also reflects that the Philadelphia Eagles will go for broke this year and keep all three quarterbacks....BOOK IT!
Sure it is not a wowing choice, but serviceable to say the least. I can almost guarantee that either Dez Bryant or C.J. Spiller will play on the great lake front of Cleveland. Delhomme must have comparable weaponry similar to his experience in Carolina.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
One must ask the question of why Delhomme? He has been there before and knows what it takes. He's also a Cajun, not to far from that Favre tree huh?
Is T. O. a logical reach for the Browns'? Only if it is a 1 year deal with some of those incentive escalators. This team needs to be constructed to put points on the board at will and run the ball down your throat we they want to. Oddly the running part is taken care of courtesy of Mangini.
With the trade of Wimbley while some fans are shocked and upset, let's face it. It wasn't working. Had Eric Mangini not have found the Matt Roth, Marcus Benard and Jason Trusnik's of the world the deal would have never happened.
