Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts, March 13

Ryan LesterMar 14, 2010

Here’s a look at some NBA players that blew up the box score last night.

1.) DeMar DeRozan, Toronto Raptors
DeMar had 18 points against the Warriors. He's averaging 12.4 in his last five games, but adds little else fantasy-wise.

2.) Jose Calderon, Toronto Raptors
Calderon had 24 points and 12 assists. He's a decent option in daily leagues. His numbers in this game were a bit bloated because it was against Golden State, though.

3.) Travis Outlaw, Los Angeles Clippers
Outlaw had 17 points one game after a 16-point performance. Given the Clippers' shortage of players, he could be a useful option down the stretch.

4.) Matt Bonner, San Antonio Spurs
Bonner recorded 21 points against the Clippers; He has minimal fantasy value.

5.) Jarvis Hayes, New Jersey Nets
I'm not ready to endorse him, but he had 16 points for the second straight game.

6.) Toney Douglas and Bill Walker, New York Knicks
The duo was at it again: Douglas had 21 points and eight assists, while Walker added 23 points.

7.) J.J. Redick and Brandon Bass, Orlando Magic
Redick had 18 points to compliment Bass' 16 points and nine rebounds. Neither are reliable fantasy options, however.

8.) Al Thornton, Washington Wizards
Thornton had 15 points against Orlando; He's a decent fantasy option.

9.) Shaun Livingston, Washington Wizards
Livingston had 18 points and eight assists. Keep an eye on him to see if he starts getting more playing time.

10.) Jason Maxiell, Detroit Pistons
Maxiell had 19 points and 12 rebounds. He's really playing at a high level right now.

11.) Will Bynum, Detroit Pistons
Bynum had 16 points and seven assists. His value will be limited when Rodney Stuckey returns.
