Oakland Raiders Power Rankings Outranked By BR Raider Nation Membership

If the number of members in a Bleacher Report Team community is a measure of passion, commitment and love for a team, then the Raider Nation ranks high. We continue to cheer for our team, even during off season and during training.

Data was aggregated by the number of members in each of the 32 NFL teams on Bleacher. The Oakland Raiders total number of members as of Mar. 13, 2010 is approximately 1919.

Observing the highest ranked teams, it is obvious that the Raider Nation is in a stratosphere of the ranked teams. The rank is in a stratosphere because it is between the maximum and the minimum just as the definition says, using metaphoric thinking: 

The region of the atmosphere above the troposphere and below the mesosphere

Now if there were a correlation between the power rankings and the rankings of the number of members in each NFL team, then the Raider Nation is eons above some of the other NFL teams.

Let's hope that the passion, and commitment to writing our pep talks, articles, and forums, will permeate the Raider Nation and flow into the hearts and minds of the young, gifted and talented Oakland Raiders.

It has been said that the spirit of a nation can transcend any and every obstacle designed to hinder that nation. This phenomenon prevailed during the Six Day War that Israel had in modern history.

We need a transcendance so that we can embrace more victories in 2010.
