An Oakland Raiders Fan's Dream Come True

Wouldn't it be great for the Oakland Raiders if some how Ndamukong Suh slipped to us at #8?  Yeah, yeah I know this is most likely just wishful thinking on my part, hence the word "dream" in the title.  However, Suh being passed on to fill more pressing needs by the top seven teams may not be that far fetched as you may think.

Here's how Ndamukong Suh can end up in the Silver & Black.

1.  The Rams have too much money invested in their D line already with Chris Long and Adam Carricker.  They'll draft Sam Bradford

2.  The Lions need to keep their young QB on his feet and just traded for DT, Corey Williams.  They'll draft Russell Okung

3.  The Bucs could be looking at Suh but Gerald McCoy better fits the Cover 2/Tampa 2 defense. 

4.  The 'Skins aren't going DT with $100 million invested in Haynesworth.  Jimmy Clausen will be the pick for Washington.

5.  The Chiefs need protection for their statue of a QB Matt Cassel.  Brian Bulaga is KC's pick.

6.  The Seahawks could definately draft Suh but Eric Berry is too good of a talent to pass on.

7.  The Browns could take Joe Haden or Dez Bryant.

If it plays out like the way I have it, Suh would fall right into our laps at #8.  He'd be a steal for #8 money.  Well Raider Nation what do you think?  I know it isn't a likely scenario but never the less it is a possibility. 

Ndamukong Suh would go a long way towards fixing our run defense.  Suh, Seymour, Kelly, and Richardson starting, with Trevor Scott, Matt Shaugnessy, and Desmond Bryant rotating in and out would give us a dominant defensive line.  What a difference he would make for the Oakland Raiders.
