Leigh Bodden To Meet With Texans Tomorrow and Would Like a Deal Done
According to a recent report on The Boston Herald website, Leigh Bodden is looking forward to a meeting arranged in Houston with the Texans scheduled for tomorrow.
After touching down in Houston tonight, and before heading off to dinner with Texans head coach Gary Kubiak, Bodden ran into a local reporter and was asked a few questions. A few of his quotes are as follows:
"I think it's great having a team like the Houston Texans being interested in me."

and then
"Hopefully I can get things done with the Texans and just move on."
Now all hope isn't lost. When asked about how he felt about returning to the Patriots, Bodden said he'd had a good year, but he was concerned about who wanted him next season. If it turned out the Patriots wanted him next season, then that's where he'd be, but if it was the Texans that wanted him he'd happily play there as well.
Basically Bodden pulled a Cuba Gooding Jr. and told all teams listening "show me the money!" I hope Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick were listening and are prepared to open the checkbook to the tune of $5-plus million per year because we sure could use Bodden back in New England next season.
